NEVADA GAMING COMMISSION and STATE GAMING CONTROL BOARD

The successful completion of an investigation into an employee's background is required as a condition of employment. This investigation is thorough and comprehensive. It covers personal history, financial matters and family history. References will be contacted to determine whether they believe the applicant is of good character and a stable individual who is qualified for employment in a sensitive, law enforcement position.

A Gaming Control Board employee may not:

• own any gaming related stocks or other forms of gaming investments
• be employed directly or indirectly by any gaming company while employed by the Board (non-gaming outside employment requires the express approval of the Division Chief and Board Chairman)
• gamble at any time, at any Nevada location, except in the course of performing duties under the direction of the Division
• accept any form of complimentary from a gaming company
• within one year after leaving State service, become employed by a Nevada casino which the Agent had audited during the preceding twelve months.
